Launching Temporary Adapted Living Solutions

Launch of the new website

The Temporary Solutions Group are proud and excited to introduce a new arm to the business – Temporary Adapted Living Solutions, and the launch of its associated website.

It’s over 10 years ago that The Temporary Kitchen Company (now part of the Temporary Solutions Groups) was created, and ever since we have been providing solutions to those in need, mainly through our work with UK insurers.

Our original product: a fully fitted kitchen that sat on the driveway, has now morphed into 14 standard products (and counting!) that range from; 4 different types of kitchens and bathrooms that can be easily located at various locations inside and outside the property, through to a bungalow that can sit in the back garden.

The product’s design and versatility mean that in addition to standard off the shelf products we offer, we are also able to provide products tailored, not just to the property, but also to the individual who needs our assistance. It is the increasing demand for these types of solutions that has seen the creation of Temporary Adapted Living Solutions.

In 2018 we were approached by an arm of the MoD who wanted to help a severely injured service man spend Christmas at home with his family – we were able to provide a wet-room extension, within days, to the family home that allowed this to happen.

Since then we’ve gone on to work with individual families, Case Managers, Occupational Therapists, Lawyers, Housing Associations, Local Authorities and the NHS to provide temporary facilities that enable downstairs living. Overcoming hurdles that would usually prevent someone leaving hospital or rehabilitation facility.

Our products bridge the gap between a care setting and a more permanent adaptation to the client’s property. Removing one of the large barriers to hospital discharge and if the property is no longer suitable our services also encompass a nationwide property search and relocation service.

Our products and services are particularly suitable for cases involving brain, spinal cord injury, amputation and multiple orthopaedic injuries, enabling individuals to live in an environment that promotes rehabilitation to regain maximum independence.

If you’d like to learn more about how we can support you, or to take a look at some of our case studies, why not have a browse of our new website – its live now!
